April 18, 2009-Get It, LLC was pleased to welcome Alexandria, Virginia mayor William D. Euille to the launch of its new headquarters located in the heart of world-famous Old Town Alexandria. The event was attended by various Get It partners, customers, and friends and family of the Get It team. Mayor Euille is a long-time colleague of Get It's CEO Jake Peebles, and quipped, only half-jokingly, that Get It's new headquarters will help Old Town cement its reputation as the "Silicon Valley of the East." Get It, previously located on Old Town's famous King Street, will be using the new expanded space at the new office at 128 North Pitt Street, to expand its staff and more effectively work on project development.
The event was a great success. Jake Peebles said, "We are looking forward to having the ability to expand our team start the next stage of our business plan after explosive growth in our first few years. We expect the dynamic growth we offer, alongside the great atmosphere within the growing Get It team, as well as the attractive location here in the center of Old Town, will all be appealing to our potential new team members." COO Chris Condon added, "yeah, that's a sweet plan."
